The Royal African Young Leadership Forum (RAYLF) has awarded Rasak Adekoya an award as one of the 100 most outstanding young people.
Rasak Adekoya, a visually impaired person and the program lead Inclusion Works at Sightsavers Nigeria, was awarded because of his commitment and efforts to disability rights over the years.
While reacting to the award via his Facebook page, Adekoya said, “thanks to Ooni of Ife for this recommendation. Keep soaring, his Royal Majesty.”
He added, “it was an award galore in the family this weekend. As I received my award as one of the 100 most outstanding youth at the Royal African Young Leadership Forum, my sociological first born (last born and the only sister) was also awarded as the most industrious student on the campus as she graduated.”
The annual RAYLF is a forum to celebrate outstanding and excellent young leaders on the continent.
BONews Service congratulates Rasak Adekoya for this feat and urges him to continue his works for advance disability rights within the continent and beyond.
